A truly thought-provoking book reflecting the personal quest of the author for the meaning of life, religion and God.The hypothesis of religion as having evolved from Codes of Conduct plus God as an anchor and inspirational concept/symbol, forms a strong basis for the author's proposal of more appropriate alternatives for achieving the same goals in the current state of intellectual and empirical knowledge.
Some specific comments and suggestions:
Location 125: For clarity and correctness: Allah is a reference to "God", Christ a prophet and Krishna an avatar; they are not all at the same level.
Location 329: Suggestion: Could retain the "Love-Hate" axis in this figure as well for consistency with Fig 2.3
Location 382: Could explore/investigate the concepts of "grace" and/or "karma" - consequence of past actions, good and bad, and the possibility of their manifestation as Chance/Destiny .
Location 658, 834 etc: "enlightened sages" rather than "learned saints"?? The sages of India were independent thinkers, mostly "realized souls" ("gyanis" with knowledge, not mere learned "pandits")
Location 104: Buddha did not believe in the concept of a "God".
In that sense Buddhism is often classified as an atheistic (or at least agnostic) belief system and prescription for conduct of life, though re-birth is a cornerstone

I downloaded and read Prem Kamble’s “God in Two Minutes”. Found the book captivating, and read it in one single reading session! Building upon examples from the physical sciences, Kamble deftly touches a “hot potato” – god and religion. Unlike other rationalists who reject these concepts, Kamble chronicles the evolution of religion, and while accepting its presence in today’s world and some benefits it may have to offer, he elaborates on its obsolescence and offers an alternate framework for society to seek an elevation in their emotional well-being.
